... Qatari in now under new leadership and the Sanctions that were placed when they had different leaders were just crippling Qatari.
An old friend, Saudi Arabia, asked Trump if he would consider lifting the sanctions on Qatari, as they are a different country now with new leaders. Saudi Arabia suggested that Qatar still has influence in parts of the Middle East that could be quite beneficial to the U.S. in the future.
Trump decided to give Qatari try and lifted the sanction, Trump was thinking if Qatari went back to their old ways, he would just put the sanctions back. Qatai welcomed Trump with open arms, invested very large within the U.S. and Qatari was so happy, that Qatari gave the U.S. a plane.
Did Saudi Arabia call in a favor from an old friend and invest large amounts of capital within the U.S. ... Yes.
Did Qatari invest large amounts of capital within the U.S. and give the U.S. a plane ... Yes.
Some people would call it diplomacy ... others "bribes" ... Did Trump make any money from all of these deals .... Not that I can see.
Does Trump own the plane from Qatari ... No ...
I really do not care if the U.S. gets the plane or not ... I really do not think it is that big a deal ... but if it is so important that Trump doesn't get to use the plane ... then it is ok with me to just send it back...
